1. Who we are

ScanQR is developed by Dynamite Technology Private Limited, Navi Mumbai, India. Contact: technologydynamite@gmail.com. Product site: scanqr.dynamitetechnology.in. Company site: dynamitetechnology.in.

2. What the app does

ScanQR scans and creates barcodes and QR codes on your phone. There is no login, no ScanQR account, and no ScanQR cloud server that receives your scans.

3. Data that stays on your device

The following is stored only on your phone using on-device storage:

Scan history, favorites, and notes
Codes you create
Theme preference (system, light, or dark)

Camera frames are decoded on the device and are not uploaded to us.

4. Data we do not collect

We do not collect, sell, or share your scans, photos, contacts, Wi‑Fi passwords, location history, or advertising identifiers. ScanQR does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.

5. Permissions

Camera — used only while the live scanner is open.
Photos / media — used only when you pick an image to scan.
Contacts — used only if you tap Save contact on a scanned card. The system Contacts app opens so you can confirm.
Wi‑Fi / nearby networks — used only if you tap Join network. Android and iOS show a system confirmation. We do not receive the password.

You can deny or revoke these permissions in your phone settings. Core scanning still works without contacts or Wi‑Fi access.

6. Actions you start

If you open a link, place a call, send SMS or email, search the web, save a contact, join Wi‑Fi, or share a file, those actions use your phone’s apps and their own policies. Feedback in the app opens your email app to technologydynamite@gmail.com. That message is sent only if you tap send.

7. Children

ScanQR is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your choices

Clear history inside the app
Revoke permissions in system settings
Uninstall ScanQR to remove local app data

9. Data safety (Google Play)

ScanQR does not collect user data on our servers. Local history is not transmitted to Dynamite Technology. Optional feedback is an email you choose to send.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date on this page. Continued use of ScanQR after an update means you accept the revised policy.
